Christmas at The Quarry Centre
Last year, The Quarry Centre is pulled out all the stops for the festive season and converted the space into a magical Christmas wonderland. With an immersive Santa’s Grotto experience for children of all ages, show-stopping Christmas lights, a night market with live music and kids’ entertainment, late-night shopping, and more, the whole family is invited to discover the magic this December.
Santa was at The Quarry, along with his most trusty Elf, listening to special requests from your little ones, throughout December. But that’s not all, there were special events such as ‘Letters to Santa’, Stocking Making, and Bauble Creating workshops as well as Christmas-themed face painting and so much more to get your youngsters even more excited for the festive season.
To help you get all your Christmas shopping done in one go, the We Heart Hilton Christmas Market was held for the first time at night. Filled with all sorts of lovely local gifts, crafted by incredibly talented local people, the night market is not to be missed. And, if you didn’t find what you were looking for at the market, all shops at The Quarry Centre were open for late-night shopping too. While you shop, don’t miss the magical display of Christmas lights which will officially be turned on as the sound of live festive music and the smell of mulled wine and roasted nuts fills the air.
A little later in the month, the annual Carols by Candlelight service took place and, if you still needed some last-minute gifts, all shops were open for late-night shopping again too.
The spirit of Christmas is about ‘togetherness’, about supporting one another and showing kindness to your neighbour. This is what The Quarry Centre has been about for the past thirty years.
