The Inspiration
As a mother of two lively girls, Katie-Grace and Georgia, Stacy knows first-hand the challenge of finding safe and engaging play spaces in the Midlands. Rainy days would turn their home into a whirlwind of energy, leaving her longing for a place where her children could play freely while she could unwind or get some work done. This desire sparked a vision and Imagine That! Kids Play Village was born—a vibrant, nurturing place for children to learn and thrive while parents enjoy a supportive community.
From Dream to Reality
What started as an impulsive idea in April 2022 quickly became a reality. By June of the same year, Imagine That! flung open its doors, thanks to the help of family friends at Country Kitchens in Howick, who brought Stacy’s innovative play pod designs to life.
“The most thrilling part? Curating a treasure trove of toys and play equipment! My daughters were initially convinced it was all for their personal playground!” Stacy laughs. Finding the perfect location proved tricky, but The Quarry Centre in Hilton became their happy home, with unwavering support from Stacy’s parents and the community.

Play is so much more than just fun—it’s the foundation of childhood development. Through imaginative play, children develop vital skills:
